I’ve been working on our organic children’s café idea for some time – I still need the perfect location, suppliers of certain items, minor practical details, but the idea is slowly taking shape and consolidating into a solid concept. As part of the process, I applied for a position in the Boost Fyn programme – I was interviewed today so am anxiously awaiting the result as I strongly believe in this platform and its purpose.
The interview was in Svendborg, which, aside a short train trip meant also browsing the local shops and cafés – I find Svendborg an incredibly cosy place, much more characterized by a busy city center than Odense – I found an organic shop, a quality tea shop and a café all within one hour of walking around in the centre – plenty of inspiration, creatively spread around. I spent the time on the train trying to visualize Café Svanen and include elements of what I have seen – a trip well worth it.
