We’ve never bought or encouraged buying toy guns, somehow they just don’t feel right, the idea of shooting at people/animals/things seems so useless. Matthias was given this rifle and pistol for his birthday by his mates from day care – he played with them the minute he got them, mostly holding them in his hands, feeling invincible. I have not decided yet whether I am a weird mom or just a sensible one, but I much prefer water balloons and soap bubble, climbing trees and reading books.
