The city centre hosted an international market (read Dutch, Italian, German, Finnish and Austrian produce) the last few days – we’ve bought some really top quality green and red pesto, the unbeatable Italian smoked ham, an Austrian mandoline, Dutch waffels and then ran out of money (and interest). It is refreshing to have the world interested in our little town, where most of the Dutch and Italian specialties are available in supermarkets.
