We strolled through the busy city centre yesterday to have a look at this year’s theme of the Odense FLower Festival: Nordic children’s fairy tales. It was interesting to take a look at some of the installations and not be able to recognize some of the characters, as I grew up mostly on Andersen, the Grimm Brothers and Benedek Elek, the Hungarian version of Andersen. Matthias was particularly intrigued by the beekeepers’ hivestand while Izabel went through all types of honey samples available. Once again, the whole city is covered with flowers, humming with tourists and locals – a great and beautiful event which we are grateful for every year. Thank you, Odense Kommune!
