We were fortunate enough to be able to have Matthias babysat by Liss-Lotte, our Esperanto teacher, and take off to Copenhagen last Saturday – on our own, full of excitement to meet Fresco, the man behind The Venus Project.
I was intrigued when I first heard and saw him in the Zeitgeist movie. I was even more curious to find out more about him and his partner, Roxanne, when I read he was coming to Copenhagen. I like his direct, no “bullshit” way of conveying his ideas, though I am not so sure about his persistence, his ability to move people beyond the ideology of his thinking, his putting into practice what he envisions and talks about so well.
At any rate, the trip to Copenhagen bears his footprint all over us, we haven’t yet “gotten off our asses” as he suggested his audience to do, but we certainly keep going at arguing his ideas.
A visionary scientist and a charismatic speaker was my conclusion.
