Canal Trip

We spent today outdoors, taking a trip on Odense Canal with Liss-Lotte and her grandson, Jakob – the boys snacked on the boat, feeding ducks morsels of their Nutella bread, waving at fellow passengers, running around in the forest, eating icecream by the lake, picking flowers and playing in the sand and by the water. It was an ideal family outing in that everyone got the chance to relax, both adults and children, with beautiful weather and green nature all around us. You can feel the summer weather slowly approaching Denmark, officially I believe tomorrow is our first summer day. Can’t wait to repeat the trip with the Splendores at the end of this month!
