I am slowly making progress with the Scherfig 1000 piece puzzle… It is utterly difficult, as the shades are so varied yet so close to each other, the animals tiny, the scenery repetitive… yet it is slowly coming together… I am amuzed that I have found this sudden hobby, as I have never really enjoyed puzzles earlier in my life. Perhaps becoming a parent has made me more patient and determined to persevere? I wonder what the feeling will be as soon as I have completed it? One thing is certain, the colours are amazingly vivid – perfect drawings for a childrens’ room, if we had one, that is.
