At the Royal Theatre with Izabel

Izabel and I visited the Royal Theatre today, they celebrated International Dance Day with a children’s ballet show – it was quite an experience for Izabel to sit inside the theatre, and she was visibly impressed by the special atmosphere inside. A wonderful place that we can’t wait to introduce them to, once they get a little bit older and can appreciate theatre, opera and ballet.

Izabel: Why do they stand still and do not do pirouettes?

Mutatom neki a királyi páholyt.
Izabel: Anya, a királynő nincs itt, biztos hazament.

I show here the royal box, where the Queen sits.
Izabel: Mother, I think the Queen has gone home.
A couple of seconds later:
Izabel: Mother, I’d like a crown and then I would like to sit up there.
