This beer is produced by Bybi, a local project in Copenhagen, organised by hipsters, homeless people and bee & honey enthusiasts, backed by a seriously professional team of business people with real jobs. It is a fantastic way to get to know the city we live in, through its pollen, as well as to learn more about bees.
A short exhibition, right after having seen “Press Photo of the Year 2014”: the duo is American and Austrian, it is the first time I have seen their work and was impressed by the the depth of colours, the creativity and technique involved in the execution. You can read more about them here and here. It was part archelogy, part ethnic, part fashion, part history, part dream, part reality. One thought kept racing through my brain: what would these pictures look like if they were inspired by a trip to Transylvania.
I can’t fathom that we still have wars and fight each other because we are born on one or the other side of any border. Some day we’ll figure out what a nuisance all this rhetoric is and what it does to us all.
