After a completely disastrous attempt to eat dinner at the Stary Browar capitalist megacomplex, we decided to walk half an hour back to the city and eat at a place we have tried before and enjoyed thoroughly: Pod Niebienem. Excellent food, extremely friendly, welcoming waiters, kind service, and a quirky sense of identity that makes it one of our favourite places to eat at. Thank you for the olej rydzowy gift – we googled it: Gold-of-pleasure or camelina oil. I prefer the first name, fantastic aroma, looking forward to use it at home either in a vinaigrette or just with a baguette. Thank you once again, dziekujemi bardzo!
We stumbled upon a lovely little authentic place, driven with a heart and a modern mind, by a lawyer, computer scientist turned cook and a handful of other food enthusiasts. We are definitely coming back for more local stuff, your place is inspiring and relaxing, a little gem in the midst of beautiful Poznan. Pod Niebieniem, dziękujemy bardzo!
On my way home from work I pass this little neighbourhood shop by Enghave plads, right off Sønder Boulevard – a slide door, and you are inside a room no larger than 10 sqm, filled with proper bread, a shop stripped to its essence. Rare to find these days, so glad to have stumbled upon it. Great bakery!
